Batala Traffic Police Educates School Students on Road Safety Rules

To educate students about traffic rules, a road safety awareness session was organized at St. Joseph Convent School, Dalla Morh, Qadian for students of Classes 8th, 9th, and 10th. This initiative was conducted under the directions of SSP Batala Suhail Qasim Mir and led by Traffic Incharge Inspector Surinder Singh, with Manjinder Singh and Swaran Singh from the traffic police delivering the session.
The officers provided detailed information on important traffic norms including road signs, traffic lights, driving licenses, pollution checks, and vehicle challans. They also advised students not to ride motorcycles or scooters to school and instead use school buses.
On the occasion, the school’s Director Father William Sahota, Principal Sister Josia, and Vice Principal Sister Litty welcomed the officers with bouquets. At the end of the session, Father Director honored the traffic police team with traditional shawls as a token of respect.
