As per the directives of District Education Officer (Secondary) Paramjit Kaur and Khed District Magistrate Anita Sharma, athletics competitions were held at the Government Senior Secondary School in the nearby village of Harchowal, under the supervision of Zonal Head Principal Lakhwinder Singh and Zonal Secretary Amarjit Singh. The competition was inaugurated by BNO Vijay Kumar. Regional Sports Secretary Amarjit Singh, Finance Secretary Amritpal Singh, Lecturer Rajwinder Kaur, and others were present on the occasion. BNO Vijay Kumar and Secretary Amarjit Singh led the 100-meter race in the under-14 category. Tanush Kumar, Arun Kumar, and Sahbaj Singh Karmachari finished second and third, respectively, in the 200-meter race. Sahbaj Singh, Ajay Masih, and Kamalpreet Singh finished first, second, and third, respectively, in the 200-meter race. In the 1500 meter race, Himmat Masih, Babandeep, and Manpreet finished first, second, and third, respectively. In the long jump, Karandeep Singh Naksh and Tarun Kumar finished first, second, and third, respectively. Similarly, in the under-17 100 meter race, Attaullah Noor, Sukhmanpreet Singh, and Madhav Sharma finished first, second, and third, respectively. In the 200 meter race, Madhav Sharma, Damanpreet Singh, and Abhay Pratap Singh finished first, second, and third, respectively. In the 3000 meter race, Gurmal Preet Singh, Gurjot Singh, and Lovepreet Singh finished first, second, and third, respectively. Similarly, in the long jump, Sukhmanpreet Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, and Paras Mehra finished first, second, and third, respectively. In the under-19 100 meter race, Bhavik Khosla, Japan Jeet Singh, and Anmolpreet Singh finished first, second, and third, respectively. In the 400 meter race, Sugir Hasair, Anmolpreet Singh, and Yuvraj Kumar finished first, second, and third, respectively. In the 1500 meter race, Jaideep Singh, Rishabh Khosla, and Harmandeep Singh finished first, second, and third, respectively. In the long jump, Sagar Amarbir Singh and Mehboob Khan finished first, second, and third, respectively. The winning athletes were honored with medals by the chief guest, Master Harbhajan Singh, senior athlete, retired inspector Ranjodh Singh, Principal Kaptan Singh, Principal Lakhwinder Singh, and BNO Vijay Kumar.
