(Batala, April 12:Abdul Salam Tari) Batala MLA and Executive President Punjab, Aman Sher Singh Sherry Kalsi, laid the foundation stone for a Maseehi Park and community hall to be constructed at a cost of 17 lakh rupees in village Naushehra Majha Singh. On this occasion, Gurmeet Singh Chahal, BDPO, Sarpanch Mandeep Kaur, District Youth Leader Mandeep Singh Gill, and the entire party team were present.
Addressing the villagers, MLA Sherry Kalsi said that he is listening to people’s problems in the villages and resolving them, while transforming the villages in terms of development.
MLA Sherry Kalsi stated that “long-standing issues of the villagers are being addressed. Ponds are being built under the Thapar Model for the drainage of dirty water in villages”.
Sports stadiums have been constructed to encourage youth towards sports. Roads in streets and to deras have been paved for people’s convenience. Streetlights are being installed in villages. Parks have been constructed in villages for the convenience of residents, where people can walk in the morning and evening.
MLA Sherry Kalsi further said that “he is committed to ensuring the development of every village in the constituency transparently, and the pace of development works will be further accelerated to provide relief to people who have been grappling with issues for years”.
