Qadian, October 6 (Salam Tari) – Dr. Bedi informed that, as per the orders of the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court and the guidelines issued by the Punjab Government, temporary licenses for storing and selling firecrackers in district Gurdaspur will be issued through a tehsil-wise lucky draw system.
Applications for these temporary licenses, along with a refundable bank draft of ₹35,000 as security in the name of the District Magistrate, will be accepted through all service centers in the district from October 7, 2025, to October 11, 2025, till 5:00 PM.
From the received applications, a tehsil-wise lucky draw will be conducted on October 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM in Room No. 416, B-Block, District Administrative Complex, Gurdaspur, under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble District Magistrate, Gurdaspur. The rules and conditions related to these temporary licenses will be explained on the spot.
